Full Pull (Malmö, Sweden) is an organization for electronic/experimental music, art and associated projects. The aim of the organization is to encourage individuals and institutions alike, as well as stimulate collaborations and networks for the exchange of artistic practice and knowledge. Full Pull has organized sound and visual art related exhibitions and events in the Öresound region since 2004. Full Pull has brought new and quality music to Malmö and the Öresound region, as well as built a network between creative organizations and educational institutions, professionals and students as well as linked regional and international artists and cultural projects.
Full Pull started as a informal cooperation between art galleries, record labels and independent music promoters in Malmö 2004. One year later the first Full Pull festival was held at Rooseum Center for Contemporary Art, which started the network that now organizes an annual festival for electronic/experimental music and related arts. Now Full Pull returns for it seventh edition in autumn 2011.
The long-term aim for Full Pull is to stimulate the experimental music and art scene in the Öresund region. Full Pull support collaborations between different fields of art and technology, as well and international collaborations where the Nordic countries is one part. One of these aims is realized through ICAS – International Cities of Advanced Sound where shared knowledge and different creative platforms generate new experiments in music and related arts in Europe and the Americas.
